6-part video series with 3 Camera Angles, Green Screen, and A.I studio

A Collaborative Video Journey with Emma Heath.

Today, I want to share the story of my collaboration with Emma Heath, a phenomenal businesswoman who has come from tragedy to triumph, and who entrusted me with capturing her vision. Her story is inspiring. She was heading down a dark path of alcohol addiction but turned her life around and now has a charity that teaches people all over the country how to kick bad habits and addiction to the curve. Check out STAR website here.

I first met Emma as I reached out to her to be on my podcast Our Journey To Eden (a side project I did for a few years) where I interview women with empowering stories. We immediately connected over her passion for doing impactful work and changing lives. Her journey in recovering from alcohol addiction is a powerful story. She shared her passion for helping others recover from addiction and bad habits and her video project that needed to be filmed for her charity STAR  ( STEP TO ACTIVE RECOVERY), I knew I had to be a part of bringing her vision to life.

The Collaborative Filming Process:

Every video journey begins with a conversation. In this case, we spent some time brainstorming ideas, discussing the target audience and the use of the video series that Emma wanted to produce, and most importantly, uncovering the core message she wanted to convey.  It was crucial to understand Emma’s vision – what she wanted viewers to feel and remember after watching the video series.

This is where the magic happens.  Emma’s enthusiasm and clear vision were instrumental in shaping the project. Throughout the process, we worked collaboratively, bouncing ideas off each other, refining the production process, and ensuring every detail aligned with the video series that would be released nationally.

Behind the Scenes at Top Cat Media Studios in Bournemouth:

The big day arrived, and the energy on set was electric! Emma and her team of presenters and teachers were naturals in front of the camera, radiating authenticity and passion, and thankfully due to such a bog shoot schedule and tight time frames the team didn't need too many prompts and they had all practiced their lines before shoot day. We did however use a teleprompter and loaded up all scripts for the presenters to make it much quicker and easier to shoot long presentations.

Celebrating Success:

The final videos exceeded both of our expectations!  Emma was ecstatic with the results, and seeing her reaction to the finished product was incredibly rewarding.  The best part?  Knowing her story will now resonate with countless viewers, inspiring and supporting them in overcoming bad habits and destructive addictions. Below you can see how the final A.I studio turned out. 3 camera angles that had to be matched up was not easy in the editing.

Working with Emma was a true privilege. It reaffirmed the importance of collaboration, clear communication, and most importantly, the power of doing a project that will have a far-reaching impact on people's lives for the better.
